A Bad Example

Did you ever see a river that was as straight as an arrow?  Most likely not.  Streams generally wind back and forth from the time they gush out of a lake until they find repose in the bosom of the deep.  And why is it the river is never straight?  Let a master epigram answer, and at the same time drive home a wholesome truth. “A river becomes crooked by following the course of least resistance.  So does man.”
