ASLEEP

A preacher once said to a group: One day, I came upon a drunken man asleep on the railway tracks, and the express was due.  What would you have done?  Each answered quickly, “I would have dragged him off of the track in a hurry!”  “Well,” said the preacher, “that is the state of every unsaved person in the world— asleep on the tracks, and God’s judgment express is almost due.”

Are you, reader friend, doing anything about your friends who are asleep on the tracks?  Are you trying to wake them up or just letting them sleep on into a Godless eternity in hell?  Let’s get busy!  (From “The Way”)
