The Kingdom of Prophecy

  • The “Lord’s house” would be established in Jerusalem (Isa. 2:2-3).  The “house of God” is the church (1 Tim. 3:15).
  • The kingdom of Christ was to be established during the days of the Roman Empire (Daniel 2:44).  Christ was born during the reign of Caesar Augustus (Luke 2:1).
  • Christ promised to build his kingdom during the lifetime of his followers (Mark 9:1).  The Apostle Paul was in Christ’s kingdom (Col. 1:13).
  • Christ is now ruling on David’s throne (Acts 2:25-36).
  • When Christ returns, He will deliver the kingdom back to the Father (1 Cor. 15:24).
